Industrial Container Services, LLC Acquires All of Winston Container Company’s Machinery and Equipment
MONTEBELLO, CA- Industrial Container Services, LLC (“ICS”) of Montebello, California announced today that it has acquired all of the manufacturing machinery, equipment and inventory of Winston Container Company (“Winston”), a privately held steel drum reconditioner located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Winston was founded by Mr. Robert L. Winston in 1956 and has been a premier provider of reconditioned steel open head drums in the Southeastern United States. The production at the Winston facility will be distributed to ICS’ two facilities located in Charlotte and Matthews, North Carolina. Winston’s dedicated and skilled employees accepted employment opportunities with ICS, including Mr. Ted Brooks, Mrs. Jeanne Martin and Mr. John Scarbrough.

Since Mr. Winston’s retirement, the Company has been managed by Mr. Ted Brooks. Mr. Brooks, a proven “reconditioned drum” professional with over 34 years of experience, has joined ICS and he will be a real asset to us”, states Mr. Jerry Butler, ICS’ Chief Operating Officer.
