Industrial Container Services, LLC to Acquire Container Re?yclers, Inc.
MONTEBELLO, CA- Industrial Container Services, LLC (“ICS”) of Montebello, California announced today that it has entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with Container Recyclers, Inc. whereby it will acquire substantially all of the operating assets of Columbus QCB, Inc. (formerly known as Columbus Steel Drum), Allied Drum Service, Inc., Cargo Clean, Inc., and Cargo Clean-Indiana, Inc. At the closing of this transaction ICS will acquire locations in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana. Cargo Clean Inc. will continue to own and operate its tanker truck washing operation in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“Upon completion of the Container Recycler acquisition ICS will expand to 18 locations in 13 states and add to its team many talented and experienced employees. With these additional locations, ICS will enhance its ability to service the supply chain requirements of customers nationally and create the largest drum collection system in the country. Mr. Edward Paul, an industry veteran and whose family was instrumental in establishing the recondition steel drum industry, will join ICS as its Ohio Regional Manager”, states Mr. Calvin Lee, ICS’ Chief Executive Officer and President.
